Enjoy the 9-hole course in the heart of the Elbe-lowlands

The nine-hole course is the first one of the planned golf courses on the spot and has been open to public since April 17th, 2005.
The golf course serves as home course for the Golf Club Stará Boleslav that offers membership for all age groups with discounted rates for juniors, seniors and families.
A sport and recreational complex is currently being constructed inside a sand quarry, on the right bank of the Elbe river, south of the Borek village. The south end of the course reaches all the way to the famous Probošt-lakes.
The development of the whole complex will go hand in hand with the recultivation process of the area affected by the mining of sandy gravel. Besides planned golf courses, there is a functioning airstrip used by ultralight aircrafts. The bicycle trail Polabská cyklostezka, currently running by the traffic affected state road is planned to be rerouted to pass the golf course in the near future. The project contains even plans for water sport facilities.
Compact, yet diverse
The mainly flat character of the Stará Boleslav golf course is determined by the landscape, it would be quite unreasonable to expect a grave elevation differences in the very middle of the Elbe-lowlands. The flatness of the course does however provide a great advantage – the power a player would need to climb a hilly course can rather be used to face the challenges the game golf itself brings to the table.
Fortunately, a flat golf course does not necessarily mean a boring or even worse dull experience. The designed were able to cleverly utilize the proximity of the surrounding lakes and even created two peninsula greens. These features provide the course with a certain quaintness, however, they often also put the players through a challenge they do not easily forget. The holes are optically divided by numerous mounds and hollows while rife sand traps bring even more challenge to the game.
Putting aficionados will appreciate generously designed greens they will find both on the Stará Boleslav golf course and in the practice area. So, spending a while polishing your short game in our practice area will certainly pay off!

During January and February, regardless of the weather, the winter greens are in effect, with a green fee discount of 20 %.
